History of the Shop

That Game Place has been serving the Lemoyne/ New Cumberland/ Harrisburg area for nearly four years as one of the few remaining exclusively "Game Stores" in the area. We have been hosting regular gaming at least three nights a week and along with M. Foner we presented a general Gaming Convention in November 2009 and hosted That Game Convention in 2010. "M. Foner's Games Only Emporium" was a regular stop for gamers in the New Cumberland/ Lemoyne/ Harrisburg area for the past 25 years. Charlie, the owner of That Game Place, was a customer of Mr. Foner's for about 20 years. When Mr. Foner decided to enter semi-retirement, he sold the store to Charlie. Thus was born "That Game Place."

Don't worry, Mr. Foner will still be involved in the Gaming Industry. He is currently designing new games, teaching classes in game design, and he has promised to be a resource to help That Game Place. The shop also tries to keep at least one of each of Mr. Foner's titles in stock at all times.

Our Vision

Our goal for That Game Place is that it will provide a place where all gamers can walk in and find a product, information about a product, or game related news that they are looking for. In the future we are looking to expand on new ideas in gaming, while keeping a firm grip on our roots: the 'traditional/timeless' games.
