Toc Toc Woodman Tournament
A funny thing happened at Gamers of Winter Convention this year.
A group of people at the convention saw my copy of "Toc Toc Woodman" and decided that the rules and game were great, but that there should be rules for Tournament Play … so, they took it upon themselves to write them and play the first "Toc Toc Woodman" tournament in Gamers of Winter History.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the writing of the "Tournament Rules" and the players of the game. As far as I'm concerned, all of you are Lumberjacks … and you're OK.

Star Wars Minis: Regional Tournament
This year, we were honored to be asked to host one of the Star Wars Minis Regional Tournaments. Eighteen players arrived at That Game Place from Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. We were a bit crowded, but this bold group of gamers patiently worked with us to make the event a great success!

Wizard World Convention
Philadelphia, PA - June 2008
The Wizard World East Convention was held May 30 - June 01, 2008 in Philadelphia, PA.
Todd, Andy, Grace, and Eugene went to this major event and participated in the Heroclix Tournaments held there.
Our own Hero Clix Judge, Eugene fought his way into the Final Round on Sunday. After a tough battle, he finally placed 26th in the event.

Starro Attacks!
The Heroclix players at That Game Place took part in the "Starro Attacks!" event which was sponsored by Wizkids Games.
This five week event was held in September and October of 2007. The four theme weeks leading up to the final battle for Starro, himself consisted of battles for control of the members of the Justice League who were enslaved by Starro.

The Coming of Galactus!
The Heroclix players at That Game Place took part in the "The Coming of Galactus" event which was sponsored by Wizkids Games.
This five week event was the first major event held at That Game Place. The event was held in July and August of 2007. The four theme weeks leading up to the final battle for Galactus consisted of 'Announcements of the Coming of Galactus' by the Heralds of Galactus:
